Hey, I’m Darren — but most people know me as Dazza.
I’m a local Personal Trainer based in Greenbank, and I help busy, career-focused men over 35 get stronger, lose stubborn belly fat, and feel good in their body again — without extreme diets, endless cardio, or giving up the foods they enjoy.
I officially launched Dazza Fitness back in January 2017 at the Teviot Downs Soccer Club, running bootcamps with one simple goal:
Help everyday people become fitter, stronger, and more confident.
In 2020, my focus shifted.
I moved away from large group training and into 1:1, studio-based coaching (now based in Everleigh), working almost exclusively with busy men who wanted results — but didn’t want fitness to take over their life.
Today, I help men:
All without cutting out beers, favourite foods, or real life.

I was born in Brisbane, QLD, grew up outdoors, loved four-wheel driving, and tried a bit of everything.
Before becoming a PT, I worked in IT for around 7 years, mostly on service desks across different companies.
Long hours. Sitting all day. Takeaway. Sweets.
(And yes — I’ve got a massive sweet tooth.)
Over time, I gained weight, lost energy, and eventually burnt out hard.
That’s when I decided to take control of my own health while completing my personal training qualifications — even though I was nervous as hell and genuinely unsure if I’d succeed.
Fast-forward to now…
I wake up every day helping men make real progress with their fitness — without extremes or pressure.
Men like:
Anthony, Steve, and Adam, who built muscle despite demanding careers
Mark, Andrew, and Paul, who lost belly fat without giving up their favourite foods
